Looking for a fun weekend of hockey without all the pressure and intensity of a traditional tournament?

Individual Registration

The May Long Weekend Friendly is built around community, balanced games, good people, and enjoying hockey over the long weekend.

We’ll have 8 teams split into two groupings:

  • Newbie to Beginner
  • Beginner to Intermediate

Each team is guaranteed 3 games.

Games will include referees and scorekeepers, with scores and stats tracked throughout the tournament, but there are no championship games.

This is a friendly tournament focused on exercise, meeting new people, and enjoying the game. We will be using ARCHL rules and expect players to keep things respectful and community-focused throughout the weekend.

If you are mainly looking for ultra-competitive hockey or treating every shift like Game 7, this likely is not the tournament for you.

This is an individual sign-up tournament and not a draft tournament.

We will do our best to keep friends together first while still creating balanced teams and enjoyable games for everyone.

You can help by keeping friend requests flexible where possible.

Individual Registration

Schedule Format

Everyone will play Friday, May 15 and Sunday, May 17.

Your third game will be either Saturday, May 16 or Monday, May 18.

If your team is scheduled Friday / Saturday / Sunday, your second game will be Saturday.

If your team is scheduled Friday / Sunday / Monday, your second game will be Sunday.

And if you’re an absolute animal and want to play all four days, that may also be possible.

Roster Size

Each team will have 13 roster skater spots.

Goalies

Goalies may indicate their interest in the tournament by email us, but goalie placements will be finalized once teams are selected and availability is confirmed.

Jerseys

If you already own a Hockeytourney jersey, please bring it.

Otherwise, please bring:

  • One dark numbered jersey
  • One light numbered jersey

Hockeytourney jerseys from existing stock may also be available for purchase, but hockeytourney jerseys are not mandatory.

Pricing

Early bird pricing is $60 and ends at midnight tonight, Saturday.

After that, registration increases to $84.

Please sign up early so we can sort teams, balance divisions, and get the schedule posted as soon as possible.
